Message 1 Dear EQ Europe net workers, This is the first report from India. Bangalore 20th january 2003. The sun is warm 25 degrees, no rain, no snow in Bangalore. In the papers messages from the north of India. 500 people died because it is freezing there. After the trip by North West Airlines from Amsterdam to Bombay and with Jet air to Hydrabad the first EQmeeting takes place in Hyderabad at the morning of 12 january 2003. We meet in the office of Jyotsna; Andriot Infoactive Services Pvt Ltd In Palaca Colony Basheerbagh in Hyderabad. Hyderabad is the residence city of the Region Andra Pradesh in the South west of India. A riot of people is translating texts from all over the world in 17 official languages of India and visa versa in Spanish, English and french, German etc. The subject of the first meeting is: the need for good communication and translation in relation with to EQ Europe Educational network. India needs EQ methods, recourses and tools. English is the second language of India. Not everyone can read it. Pradeep Kumar the director, Jyotsna and Madaphushi Srinivasan and Dhyan discussed the possibility to translate the text of EQ Europe in Hindi and Tellegu the languages of Andra Paresh. And we discussed the possibility for a NEXUS conference in India. Everyone agreed that will be very good. We will work it out with other groups in Chirala and Bangalore. Aat, Frits and Henk: Are you interested in an Indian version of your practical EQbook in Tellegu or/and Hindi? Are there other autors of EI articles and methods in USA or Europe who are interested?
